Acts 10:15 NCV: But the voice said to him again, “God has made these things clean, so don’t call them unholy!”
Today’s text is about Peter calling unholy what was once looked upon as unholy but now has been sanctified by God and presented to him. There the Lord warned him not to call unholy what the lord has made holy.
The gentiles were once regarded as unholy people by the Jews hence the Jews were forbidden to relate with them. This was illustrated here: He said, “You people understand that it is against our law for Jewish people to associate with or visit anyone who is not Jewish. But God has shown me that I should not call any person ‘unholy’ or ‘unclean.’
Acts 10:28 NCV
Only God has the final say over your life. No one has the right to call you a sinner, unholy for any reason. God is the righteous judge. If he says you are forgiven and righteous, no one can say otherwise.
So I encourage you to hold firm what God has said concerning and never let go. Also, do not judge others yourself as God is the judge of the world.
Declare to yourself loud: Your word oh Lord is the final authority in my life. Hallelujah.
Lord Jesus, I submit myself to your word, I believe all that you have said concerning me. Blessed be your holy name. In Jesus Name. Amen.
