Isaiah 43:1-2 NIV: But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
Fear counters everything that God has said about you. While faith affirms everything that God has said about you. When you entertain fear in your life, you are simply demonstrating your unbelieve in what God has said. That’s why he constantly reminded you not to to be afraid.
Whatever you do in life and you discover fear in it, stay away from it because it’s certainly not from God. It will interest you to know that fear is a spirit from the devil to keep you from trusting in God. Anytime you encounter fear, rebuke it in the name of Jesus. For the Bible says God did not give us a spirit that makes us afraid but a spirit of power and love and self-control.
2 Timothy 1:7 NCV
Get to know Jesus more and your faith in him will be strong enough to ward off every fear in your heart. Never speak fear over anything that concerns you rather speak faith.
Declare to yourself loud: I have the spirit of power, love and sound mind. Hallelujah.
Heavenly Father, thank you for giving me the spirit of power, love and sound mind. In Jesus Name. Amen.
