Mark 16:3-4 CEV: On their way, they were asking one another, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance for us?” But when they looked, they saw that the stone had already been rolled away. And it was a huge stone!
My beloved friend in Christ, do you have problems that seem too big for you to overcome? Are there conditions that have proven too difficult and defile all solutions that you have soughted before now? I have good news for you. God is able to do the impossible for you. In today’s text, the women where asking one another who will roll away the stone at the entrance to the tomb of Jesus. Knowing fully well that they had no capacity to roll the large stone away. They instantly knew that they needed help.
Sometimes in our lives, we encounter issues that are much bigger than us and at that point we must realize quickly that we need divine intervention. The moment we can accept the fact that we cannot handle them on our own, we are clearly submitting ourselves to divine intervention. That is when God will arise in our defense. We must acknowledge that we are weak before God so that God’s strength can be made manifest in us.
Don’t panic anymore about how that issue will be resolved. Submit it to Him and trust that before you get stranded, help will surely come for you. You will not meet shame along your way as long as you allow the Master to help you roll away the problem for you. Shalom.
Declare to yourself loud: God will do the impossible in my life.
My Father and my God, roll way any challenge in my life that has defiled human solutions and strength. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
