God loved man inspite of his sin!

Genesis 3:21 NCV: The Lord God made clothes from animal skins for the man and his wife and dressed them.

My dear friend in Christ, do not allow anyone to lie to you again that God does not love you because you made a mistake or made a wrong choice. This is man’s mentality but not God’s mentality. It is true that God hates the sin but He has never hidden His love for the sinners; always looking forward for their redemption and change of hearts.

Our text today proves that God never stopped loving man. The Bible records that God, haven seen that man failed and even made the wrong choice of clothes, went ahead and gave them something better. He gave them clothes made from animal skins which is better than that of fig leaves. Genesis 3:7 says “At that moment their eyes were opened, and they suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves.” This was man’s first decision on his own and it was a terrible one at that.

God wants us to always refer to Him in all we do. It is true that we have failed God in the past, He is still interested in us as a loving father. This should also give you confidence that whatever you ask of Him, He is ever ready to grant it to you not minding your mistakes. That was what happened in the case of Adam. It wasn’t because Adam behaved well that’s why God gave Him clothes, rather it was the sure mercy and love of God for man. This same God is telling you today that He loves you. Come back to Him and make Him Lord of your life. Shalom.

Declare to yourself loud: my God loves me.

PRAYER POINTS:

  1. Almighty God, help me to always come to you when making decisions. Also correct whatever wrong decision I have made in the past, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
  2. Please add your personal intentions.
