Mark 14:32-33 NCV: Jesus and his followers went to a place called Gethsemane. He said to them, “Sit here while I pray.” Jesus took Peter, James, and John with him, and he began to be very sad and troubled.
What do we do whenever we are troubled and depressed? Do we go about complaining to others or blaming ourselves for our predicament? Look at what Jesus did in our text today, though he was with his friends, he, however, withdrew himself alone to talk to his father in prayer.
Whatever we go through in life, he is aware of it. He wants us to talk to him it and seek guidance, strength, and courage to pull through. He is sure ready to help us pull through.
Declare to yourself loud: I will take my worries to God in prayer. Hallelujah.
Lord Jesus, strengthen me in my weakness and give me courage in times of adversity. In Jesus Name. Amen.
