John 6:29 NCV: Jesus answered, “The work God wants you to do is this: Believe the One he sent.”

We have been studying the redemptive work of Christ for a while now and how we are called to believe what Christ obtained for us on the cross so we can be saved. Many will want to do something, for God to accept and call them righteous. But here is Christ himself admonishing his followers to only believe in the one He sent as the work (service) required of them by God.

Jesus knew that the key motivating element in any action is your belief in that which you want to do. If your belief is wrong, it will certainly reflect in your actions.

Therefore, instead of attacking the actions and trying to correct it, deal with the belief and the action will be corrected automatically.

Let us believe in Him who he has sent, if we can only believe, we shall inherit the kingdom of God and reign with him in life. For all things are possible to him that believes. Mark 9:23.

Declare to yourself loud: Oh lord, I dare believe you. Hallelujah.

Lord Jesus, let the knowledge of you fill my soul. In Jesus Name. Amen.
