Mark 14:65 NLT: Then some of them began to spit at him, and they blindfolded him and beat him with their fists. “Prophesy to us,” they jeered. And the guards slapped him as they took him away.

My dear friend in Christ, there are times when people will turn our good works against us and suddenly forget how much you tried to make them better people or save them from their ruin. Jesus was always with the people, healing and teaching them and even fed them at some point. These are the same people who are spitting at him, hitting him with their fist and even calling for his end. When you see people calling for an end of other people, do not join them. The devil will always find a way to put an end to anything or anyone that is good.

Don’t expect the devil to come physically to call for such end. He will simply use unsuspecting people who make themselves available for him. Do not be discouraged when you experience things like this. Jesus has been through it already. Ask him to help you overcome it as He did. Be sensitive in the spirit to know when the enemy is at work. There are believers who are being persecuted today who were once helpful to the community they live. Pray for them always. I call you blessed.

Declare to yourself loud: I am grateful to you Lord Jesus for enduring all these for me.

  1. Lord Jesus, touch the hearts of men to let go of wickedness and turn to God.
  2. Oh Lord my God, keep me away from unreasonable and wicked men, in Jesus Name. Amen.
  3. Please add your personal intentions.
