1 Corinthians 10:10 GNT: We must not complain, as some of them did—and they were destroyed by the Angel of Death.

My dear friend in Christ, today’s message is about the people of Israel who complained against Moses and Aaron to God and were destroyed. Lack of contentment is a major cause of complaint by man. On the other hand, when we feel that things are not moving in the way we desire, we complain about it. Some people go about it without putting into consideration who is involved in the matter. Some don’t care about the repercussions that may arise from it.

Today, it is clear that God is not pleased when we complain or speak evil about His servants because they are actually representing Him here on earth. In their feelings, some even say things that are false just to gain sympathy from other listeners. Whenever God or His anointed one’s are involved in a matter, do your best to avoid complaints or simply take the matter to God instead of trying to humiliate His servants.

There is a need to realize that we must not always have it the way we want. We must learn to submit to the will of the father even when we don’t seem to understand the direction things are going. Trust that God will take you to the expected end that is in your favor. Run away from murmur and slander of God’s chosen people otherwise what happened to the people of Israel can repeat itself. Shalom.

Declare to yourself loud: I trust the lord my God and will never complain.

1. Heavenly Father, remove anything that brings discontentment and complaint in my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
2. Please add your personal intentions.
