2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT: Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
Have you ever come across people who like to boast that it was their strength that brought then this far? They don’t realize that God is always playing a role in their endeavors. He gives strength to the weak, joy to those in sorrow and so on. Acknowledging the fact that your God is always with you makes God’s grace abound even more. It’s a sign that you cannot help yourself and God should help you.
My dear friend in Christ, since God’s strength is made manifest in weakness, it is safe to say that we must always assume the position of weakness so that God’s strength will take over. God’s desire has always been that we depend totally on Him for all our benefits. He said in Ezekiel 37:27 that He will live in them and walk with then. They will be his people, he will be their God.
I encourage you today to allow Him who is the creator of the world to step in mightily in our lives and do what no man can do. Also, the power of Christ will be made manifest in your life as well. Shalom.
Declare to yourself loud: Oh Lord, your grace is enough for me.
Lord Jesus, may your power never cease to work in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
