Luke 24:13-15 NLT: That same day two of Jesus’ followers were walking to the village of Emmaus, seven miles from Jerusalem. As they walked along they were talking about everything that had happened. As they talked and discussed these things, Jesus himself suddenly came and began walking with them.
Do you know that each time you discuss Jesus, he will join you in the conversation? He himself said, where two or more are gathered in my name, I am there in their midst. Matthew 18:20. The disciples in our text today were discussing Jesus on their way to Emmaus. Suddenly, Jesus drew near them and walked with them as they discuss even though they didn’t recognize him.
Do you want Jesus around you all the time? Then learn to discuss him, think about him, his wonders in your life and that of your family and friends. He will certainly join you. No matter the challenge you are facing, he will help you out of it. He doesn’t come around you empty. He comes with blessings and favors.
Make a decision now, to discuss him in your everyday life. In your home, office, Market place, school, etc. Look for opportunities to share with someone about the wonders of God in your life every day, and you will find Jesus always with you as you discuss, meeting their needs and yours as well. Amen.
Declare to yourself loud: The Lord Jesus is with me always, I fear no man. Hallelujah.
All-powerful God, I receive the courage to let the world know about you every day of my life. Amen.
