Hebrews 4:15 AMP: For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin.

Child of God, you might wonder why you keep failing to reach perfection. It is because you are still putting on the corrupt flesh as human. As long as you are in this body, you will always be prone to mistakes and temptations. Do not imagine that you are immune to temptations. They will always come around to test your faith in God.

Thank God for Jesus, who came as man and had to feel exactly what it means to be human. The Bible recorded today that He was tempted in every way but He never sinned. He was full of grace. He was fully obedient to the will of the father and so He never offended the father (sin). We on our part, we disobey the father every day due to our weakness as human beings.

Therefore, acknowledge this truth that you are grossly weak and incapable of helping yourself and then ask Jesus to step in and help you. Unless you ask, you cannot receive. And you cannot claim to have asked for mercy and forgiveness yesterday and so there is no need for asking again today. Every day is new before God according to the time of life. No one can get even recieve salvation without asking for it. So it is with forgiveness. That’s why the Bible says in Proverbs 28:13 that He that covereth his sins shall not prosper.

This should come from a sincere heart for change and should not be a religious routine. It is also not a mandate to continue without caution to break God’s law in the name of He understands. If you do so, you are in danger of death and losing your faith. Do your best to stay close to Jesus in prayers and study of the word and God will always be there to help you improve and be better. Shalom.

Declare to yourself loud: Jesus knows my weakness.
