spirit

Mark 15:37 AMP: But Jesus uttered a loud cry, and breathed out His last [voluntarily, sovereignly dismissing and releasing His spirit from His body in submission to His Father’s plan].

My dear friend in Christ, it is known among many believers that Jesus died on the cross for their sins. One thing that many don’t know is that nobody took His life from Him. Meaning that no one could kill him. Rather as the scriptures rightly pointed out, He voluntarily gave up His spirit. Jesus Himself said this even before He died when he said in John 10:18 “No one can take my life from me. I sacrifice it voluntarily. I have the authority to lay it down when I want to and also to take it up again. For this is what my Father has commanded.”

Jesus laid down His life out of obedience to the father. How far can you go in obeying the Lord your God? Do you have a limit for which you will say no to God? Jesus had shown us an example. I encourage you to stay with Him and be ready to lay down your life for Him. Do not be afraid. Alive or dead, we belong to Him. Our world today will seek to coerce you to give up your faith. Make up your mind not to succumb. He has promised to give you the crown of life. James 1:12. Shalom

Declare to yourself loud: I will follow you to the end.
