Acts 11:29 NCV: The followers all decided to help the believers who lived in Judea, as much as each one could.
Today’s message is about the early church and how they cared for each other and help each other in times of need. The scripture recorded that they help as much as each one could. So there is no competition for who helped most or less. It says as much as they could.
When you offer help to fellow believer’s, you are to do so as much as you could and not as a competition or looking down on what you have or looking at what others have given. The Lord is only interested in the joyful heart that gives because he is a giver. So when you help others, you are simply demonstrating the character of your heavenly father. Take delight in helping out whenever the need arises not necessarily when you are asked to do so.
Guess what; you can never run out of supplies as a result of your giving. God bless you as you do so.
Declare to yourself loud: I will give to the lord at all times for he is my provider. Hallelujah.
Lord Jesus, fill my heart with love and passion to help others in times of need. In Jesus Name. Amen.
