sinners

Mark 2:17 NLT: When Jesus heard this, he told them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”

My dear friend in Christ, there is a disturbing trend in the body of Christ. People sit down and judge others from their own perspectives and even crucify them on social media. They feel that they are righteous because of their works while others are sinners who deserve to go to hell. Well, it might interest you to know that Jesus came for sinners and not the righteous. It is one thing to assume or think that you are righteous, it is another thing to be.

Unless you acknowledge how weak and unworthy you are, you are not getting any mercy and forgiveness from Jesus. Humility is to acknowledge that you have a fault. Pride will never allow you to take the position of weakness. Note that God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. James 4:6. Remove the arrival mentality that creeps in when little results start showing. Always show your dependency on God for everything. That way, you are sure to always have His strength with you.

Open up yourself to God today and ask him to help you. Ask him to take over your weaknesses and turn them into strength. Shalom..

Declare to yourself loud: I know that I am not worthy. Lord you are my help.
