John 7:37‭-‬38 NCV: On the last and most important day of the feast Jesus stood up and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. If anyone believes in me, rivers of living water will flow out from that person’s heart, as the Scripture says.”

Today, we see Jesus calling everyone who is thirsty to come and drink. And that if you believe, out of you shall flow rivers of living water. In this text, Jesus is talking about the holy spirit. He is ready to fill you with his spirit and it will overflow.

The desire to know Jesus can only be satisfied by the holy spirit. Do not think that the holy spirit is meant for a certain class of people. Jesus said whoever is thirsty. So you need to be thirsty about him and he will fill you.

It’s all we need in this life to survive. For He is our guide, our instructor, our helper. We can’t do it alone. Let us desire more of him from today and he will fill us with his spirit.

Declare to yourself loud: I believe in you lord Jesus. Hallelujah.

My Lord and my God. I desire to know you more. Fill me with your spirit until I overflow. In Jesus Name. Amen.
