Acts 13:2 AMPC: While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Separate now for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.

In the place of worship and fellowship with God, the Holy Spirit always reveals himself and what he wants you to do for him. The work is his not yours. So you have to constantly seek his will to know exactly what to do. There is no room for trial and error. It has to be accurate.

In our text today we could see the Holy Spirit clearly instructing the early believers on the special assignment he has for Barnabas and Paul. After prayers, they laid hands on both of them and sent them forth.

As a believer, you should, therefore, spend time in fellowship with the spirit through prayer and study of the word in order to be constantly in-tune with what he wants.

Declare to yourself loud: Holy Spirit, you are my instructor. Hallelujah.

Spirit of the living God, my ears are always opened to receive clear instructions on what to do for you. In Jesus Name. Amen.
