Zechariah 12:10 NKJV: “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.
My dear friend in Christ, the Lord was speaking prophetically to Zachariah what is to come. The house of David in this context refers to a nation, a people and not an individual. The Lord said He will pour on them the spirit of grace and supplication. This is a cooperate dimension of prayer. Prayer is not just asking God for one thing or another. It is a system of administration and control in the kingdom of God. When we pray as a nation, we are calling on God to cause the entire system of administration to be in alignment with God’s will for us as a people.
When the system of a nation is not in alignment with God’s will, the people suffer. Today, our nation is putting on hold every form of corporate gatherings and prayer. Churches are forbidden from holding services. We must begin to look beyond our personal needs and focus on praying for our nation. Ask God for an outpouring of the spirit of prayer and supplication. Let His will for this nation come to pass.
Declare to yourself loud: I receive answers to my prayers.
1. I decree that every demonic assignment, schemes designed to halt the activities of prayer as a corporate entity be dismantled in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
2. Let the spirit of prayer and supplication rest upon us as a nation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
3. Please add your personal intentions.
