Philippians 4:4 AMPC: Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, gladden yourselves in Him]; again I say, Rejoice!
Dear friend in Christ, today we are called to rejoice always in the Lord. It means to take delight and derive your joy from Him. Notice that it did not say rejoice in the Lord only when things are going according to our expectations, or rejoice occasionally and be sad occasionally. Rather it emphasized always. This means that it doesn’t matter what comes out against you, simply rejoice for you know that your God is able to give you victory.
Another reason you are to rejoice always is that your enemy the devil never wants you to rejoice at all. On the contrary, he wants you sad all the time; for he comes only to steal from you, suck the life in you and all that concerns you and even destroy and alienate all that you cherish. Leaving you sad and empty.
So I encourage you to make up your mind today to remain joyful all the time. The Bible says then you will take delight in the Lord, and he will answer your prayers.
Psalms 37:4 NET. God is not a man that he should lie so be rest assured that he will do what he says he will do.
Declare to yourself loud: I will praise you at all times oh Lord my God.
Heavenly Father, I thank you for all you have done for me. May I never cease to praise you all the days of my life. In Jesus Name. Amen.
