Genesis 8:22 KJV: While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
My beloved friend in Christ, there are certain laws that abide as long as the earth remains. There are no shortcuts or bypass to those laws. One of such laws is the law of planting and harvesting. The Bible is reminding us today that as long as the earth remains, seedtime and harvest will never cease. Knowing that this is true, we must be careful the type of seed we sow because we will certainly get the harvest of it.
One very important thing to note when it comes to a seed is that it is usually one; meaning a single grain. But when planted, it produces so much more than expected. Imagine if a man plants the seed of lie, he should be prepared to harvest many lies. If he plants the seed of any evil act, he will harvest many evils and wickedness. On the other hand, if a man plants the seed of goodness, he will surely harvest multiple good deeds, and so on.
Know today that every word you say is a seed, every action you take is a seed. They will all germinate for you to harvest them. Look for good seeds from the Lord and plant them so that you can reap the good of the land. Jesus has made provisions for us to access these seeds in Him. Take advantage of it and make your life a testimony for others to follow.
Declare to yourself loud: I will plant only good seeds.
Heavenly father, you alone can provide seed for the sower, I depend on you to make my seeds grow with bumper harvest. In Jesus Name. Amen.
