Isaiah 40:9 ICB: Jerusalem, you have good news to tell. Go up on a high mountain. Jerusalem, you have good news to tell. Shout out loud the good news. Shout it out and don’t be afraid. Say to the towns of Judah, “Here is your God.”
My dear friend in Christ, today’s message is a pointer to the fact that God wants all men to tell about the great and marvelous things He has done in our lives. Do you have good news to tell? Has the Lord been faithful to you? The scripture says go and tell about it. It specifically says shout. This means that you should be vocal about it and not hide or be too economical with the truth about the things God has done.
It also says that you should not be afraid. Do you know that some people are afraid to tell about God’s goodness in their lives for fear of the enemies. It is says today, do not be afraid. God is capable of preserving what He has done. Your faith should be on Him to preserve it for you rather than you trying to preserve it by your own strength. Let them know about their God and that God is good.
Avoid complaining all the time and focus on the new things that God is doing around you. You will discover that indeed God has been good to you in spite of your circumstances. I want you to know that God is pleased with you each time you tell someone how good God has been to you. Shalom.
Declare to yourself loud: I will tell of the Lord’s goodness in my life.
- My Father and my God, may your goodness forever remain with your people.
- Oh Lord, bless my family in a special way and let the testimony resound for generations to come.
- Precious Holy Spirit, always put me in remembrance of God’s goodness in my life. In Jesus Name. Amen.
- Please add your personal intentions.
