Romans 12:5 ICB: In the same way, we are many, but in Christ, we are all one body. Each one is a part of that body. And each part belongs to all the other parts.
Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. My dear friend in Christ, the Lord is reminding us that though we are many, we are one body in Christ. Just as the different parts of the body function together as one body, we all are to play the same role in the body of Christ. No part of the body is independent of the other. We need each other to grow.
It does not matter the divisions we are experiencing in the body of Christ today; the ultimate goal is to unite all as one body in Christ. This will only be achieved when we all come to the unity of the faith of the Son of God, who died and gave his life for us.
Whatever gifts you have as a member of this body, use it freely for the benefit of the body of Christ. Every good and perfect gift comes from the Lord. We actually do not have anything on our own. We ourselves belong to Christ who bought us with a price. Allow this message to dwell in your heart and do your best to protect this body for which Christ died. God bless you.
Declare to yourself loud: I am a member of the body of Christ.
Lord Jesus, thank you for giving me the privilege of being part of your body. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
