Psalms 139:14 KJV: I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
My beloved friend in Christ, do you know that God specially handcrafted you? The Bible records that you are not ordinary and that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. If you believe in this fact, then it should henceforth transform your way of thinking especially about yourself.
Most times, we allow the things we have to give us value. If we have expensive things: from cars to buildings, to clothes etc, we begin to feel highly valued. That’s the world’s way of thinking. Never go down that path. On the other hand, when we don’t possess these things, we feel worthless and even blame God for not giving them to us and allowing those we term as bad people or wicked people to have the “good things” of life.
We are the ones to give value to the things around us and not the other way round. The cloth of Jesus was valuable and powerful that it healed the woman with the issue of blood because it belonged to him. Same with the shadow of Peter healing the sick and the handkerchief of Paul. All this is because they belonged to these great men. Your things should be valuable because it’s you that own them. Don’t let them control how you feel. Always feel great about yourself. Always thank God for taking special time to create you. Give him praise for the things you own. Realize that you can actually become whatever you desire to be in life.
Declare to yourself loud: I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Hallelujah.
Heavenly Father, thank you for making me in this amazing and wonderful way. Let your name be glorified and help me to walk in the realization of how marvelous I am because of you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
