Luke 10:9 AMP: and heal those in it who are sick [authenticating your message], and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
My dear friend in Christ, when we hear of topics like this, the first thing that comes to mind is: “I am not a pastor or a healer” and our mind goes to sleep. But you can see today that Jesus clearly instructed his disciples to heal the sick. He never said when you go out, call me to heal the sick if you find them. Rather He said, you, heal the sick. That way, their message will be authenticated knowing that it’s not an ordinary message but a message that carried divine abilities.
Paul understood this very well when he said in 1 Corinthians 2:4 “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:” Many people have reduced the word of God to mere words of human wisdom; turning it into religion without any demonstration of power. If that is the case, it means that there is no difference between human words and God’s word.
I challenge you today to rise up to your responsibility as a believer in letting others know of the efficacy of the word of God which is able to heal all manner of sicknesses including coronavirus. The name of Jesus is still as powerful as it was in the days of the Apostles as God does not change. It is we who have changed. Let us realign ourselves back to Him so that He can work wonders through us His vessels. As a believer, you can heal the sick in His name. Have you ever tried doing it before? Many have not. You will be amazed at the result you will get. God bless you.
Declare to yourself loud: His healing power is available to heal me.
1. Oh Lord my God, may your word that I preach not be with merely human wisdom, but with the demonstration of your power, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
2. Please add your personal intentions.
